AMIC-Invest is deliberately composed of a small team of top engineers (energy and mining specialist) and high level financial economists. Engineers and financial economists from AMIC-Invest have proven expertise in their area of specialization and a good knowledge in the implementation of profitable projects in Africa. But AMIC-Invest activity is mainly supported by an efficient network of firms specialized in studies and project evaluations in Africa. The pool of managers supervises a network of a dozen consultants in their respective fields.

 

In the other countries of concentration (Guinea, Niger), AMIC-Invest has signed cooperation agreements with private companies operating in the identification and promotion of projects. Agreements will be signed with other similar companies in Gabon and Congo Brazzaville.

 

The whole entity ARAMA/AMIC-Invest is led by:

 

  1. Dr. Hamed Sow. He is a graduate of the French National Institute for Nuclear Science and Technology (INSTN - SACLAY), and also holder of a doctorate in production economics from the University of Paris IX-Dauphine. Before taking up his role as CEO of ARAMA-INVEST and Chairman and Managing Director of AMIC, Dr. Hamed Sow held the following principal positions:

 

  1. - Expert seconded to the European Commission, responsible for energy cooperation between the European Union and the ALA (Asia and Latin America) countries
        1. - Principal Technical Adviser to the Energy II project in Niger, financed by the World Bank

        2. - Director General of the Centre for the Development of Enterprise (CDE) in Brussels, a joint institution of the European Union and the ACP (African, Caribbean and Pacific) countries group, tasked with developing the private sector.

        3. - Minister for Energy, Mines and Water in Mali.

     

The rest of the top management consists of:       

 

  1. Mr. Falaye Sissoko. Electromechanical engineer by training, Mr. Sissoko has a specialization in "Protection of Medium Voltage Networks/High Voltage" at the Faculty Fachhochscule Niederland (Germany). He also obtained a Master in Strategy and Business Management at the University of Paris-Sorbonne (France). Mr. Sissoko worked at “Energie Du Mali” (EDM: the national electricity company) before joining the Office of the Minister of Energy of Mali, where he spent ten years as Technical Advisor.

 

  1. Jean-Paul Seiller is a former senior official of the French Development Agency (AFD), the European Commission and the European Investment Bank (EIB). Member of the Board of AMIC-Invest. Mr. Seiller is also the Executive Director of FINANCE CONCEPT, our Representative Office for Europe
